Poem Response

What are you doing and why? What aspect of the poem will you highlight in your performance?

In my group we are going to have a son who is very upset about not doing well in college, a mom with inspiring advice, and a narrator to read the inspiring poem the mom leaves for the son. The son will come home from college and tell his mom he is struggling in college and wants to drop out. The mom will give some advice and write a inspiring poem for the son to read after she leaves. We are gonna really show the mother-son relationship in the poem and we are also showing the whole poem by having the narrator read the whole poem when the mom writes the inspiring poem for the son.
