Characters:

Ed: Christopher's dad, trying to talk to Christopher has present for him

Christopher: Ed's son,  is upset and doesn't want to talk to Ed, his rat died and he doesn't think he did well on his math test even though he ended up getting an A

Siobhan: Chris's teacher and seems to be in two scenes at once?

Judy: Ed's wife, Chris's mom, makes Chris tell Ed he doesn't think he did well on his math exam.

Sandy: Christopher's new golden retriever

Plot:

Conflict is between Ed and son Christopher. Christopher won't talk to Ed. Ed gets Christopher a golden retriever to make it up to him.
